Active Cycle Procurement™

 

November of 2017 will be the 7th anniversary of ERP Solutions & Auditing. More importantly, that same date marks the launch of our Flagship Service—Active Cycle Procurement™. In the years to come, we look forward to continue to offer 40-60% in cost reduction to a client’s transactional "Net" License purchases, and to their long-term Annual Maintenance & Support renewal costs. Active Cycle Procurement™ is offered to “Net-New” and “Existing” Enterprises exclusively, on Oracle Tier I ERP (E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, and PeopleSoft).

 

We are NOT a Third Party Support Company.

 

In fact, we passionately urge clients to NEVER cancel Oracle support. At the same time, we are keenly aware of the financial impact caused by the yearly OpEx payments and increases clients pay to renew support. This is where Active Cycle Procurement™ comes in. How do we control support costs? This depends on whether we are assisting a large client with existing support, or if we are engaged prior to a procurement cycle, with the latter realizing the greatest of benefits in deep cost reductions, to both Net License & Support.

 

We should also note one thing we never do is advise a client to conduct a “cancel and recapitalization,” which consists of terminating all licenses owned, then attempting to repurchase the same licenses net-new, thus significantly lowering the support cost. If a consultant suggests this and claims Oracle can do nothing, offer the consultant 3x their fee to do it for you. That will save time.

 

Active Cycle Procurement™ takes a client’s lowest negotiated net license and we restructure the same purchase, cutting the Net License cost. For example: Let's assume an average client has negotiated a 75% discount with Oracle on the List License price resulting in a $4MM final Net License cost. 1st year support is calculated based on 22% of final Net License cost. We charge no fee to analyze and reduce a Client's Final & Best [NET] offer, which results in 1st year support dropping in cost significantly based on a lower Net License.
